There are many over-the-counter whitening options available on the market these days, but there is nothing more effective than teeth whitening delivered by a dentist. Our professional-strength options have the ability to deeply penetrate the enamel and handle even tough stains to quickly leave your teeth several shades whiter.
In-house whitening options
We offer in-house whitening by Philips Zoom and by Opalescence. Specifically, our teeth whitening options include:
- Philips Zoom in-house whitening. Philips Zoom is the number-one patient-requested professional whitening brand. This option leaves your teeth several shades brighter within an hour. A bleaching gel is applied to your teeth and a proprietary LED light is used to accelerate the chemical reaction of the gel.
- Opalescence in-house whitening. Opalescence Boost gives you dramatically whiter teeth in less than an hour. It is a chemically activated treatment, which means that no light is required. The gel contains PF (potassium nitrate and fluoride), which helps reduce sensitivity, reduce cavities and strengthen enamel.
- Opalescence take-home whitening. Like the in-house Opalescence treatment, the take-home bleaching gel contains PF (potassium nitrate and fluoride) for reducing sensitivity and strengthening the teeth. The doctor will create custom trays for you and give you instructions on how to apply the bleaching gel. You can wear the trays for as little as 30 minutes per day, or you can sleep with them overnight.
